A little while ago a client based here in Brisbane Queensland, came to me with an unusual but exciting request. This client is a large manufacturer of metal connectors and machinery all related to pre-fabricated homes, so they have a pretty large factory.
The brief was to produce an artistic image library celebrating the raw and gritty elements of their factory. They wanted super high-quality black and white abstract images that they would then print at large scale to be displayed in their headquarters.
The project was a success. I spent half a day in full PPE roaming the two sheds using mostly just one single off-camera light. Here are a few of my favourites.
