Our Process

Choose a location somewhere in this beautiful city to reflect a distinctive image, or I will bring a professional portable studio to you. From individual executive portraits to ensemble shots of the entire staff, sessions are tailored to suit.

Corporate lifestyle shoots for image library updates are sometimes done in conjunction with portrait sessions to take advantage of the studio setup and the often rare situation of having key team members all in the same place at the same time. For the same reason, staff portraits are sometimes added in to a conference or seminar where, with a little planning, the shots can be done piecemeal over the course of the event.

Portrait shoots require time to set-up lighting and equipment, so I usually arrive a little early. For multiple corporate portraits the flow of the shoot is arranged to minimise disruption to staff and productivity. If make-up artists or wardrobe changes are involved, this is also factored into the plan.

Following portrait sessions, a private online gallery is set up for clients to view and select their favourite images for editing. All editing is done in-house, by me personally, so any special requests or additional touch-ups required are just a phone call away. See all my core services here.

Contact me to discuss your specific requirements, including your preferred location for the portrait shoot. I will bring a professional portable studio to your office or home, or you may prefer to select an outdoor setting somewhere around the city to background a distinctive signature image for yourself or your team. I can set up my portable studio just about anywhere. Alternatively, I also conduct portrait shoots in a professional studio located close to the Brisbane CBD.

Following our initial discussions, you will receive a written quote clearly setting out costs for your portrait shoot.

The cost of a portrait shoot is determined on a base price (covering provision and set-up of portable studio, lighting and background/s) plus a per image charge. There may be variables such as the number of subjects, the number of backgrounds and/or images per subject, wardrobe changes, hair and make-up if needed, and the type of photography required.

I arrive early allowing plenty of time to assess the location and position lighting and equipment. Sessions are thoughtfully planned to avoid any disruption to staff or productivity. Make-up artists or wardrobe changes, if applicable, are also taken into consideration when planning the timing of your shoot.

Following the photography session, client’s images are uploaded to a private online gallery for viewing. From this gallery, clients select their preferred images which undergo a vigorous editing process. All editing is done in-house by me personally. So for any additional editing requests I’m just a phone call away.

Clients will receive their complete library of fully edited portraits promptly, usually within 5 working days of image selection.

Can I request my portrait to be taken at my choice of location?
Yes, you can choose where you would like your portrait to be taken – your office, an outdoor location, even your own home. I have a professional portable studio that I will happily bring to you. How far do you travel?
I specialise in professional portraits generally for corporate clients and individuals in Brisbane and throughout Queensland, however, I am available to travel interstate if required. How long will it take to receive our portraits after the photo session is complete?

How do payments work?
Clients receive a written quote before the shoot. This will vary according to the number of subjects and the overall brief. Each assignment is different, but the calculation is determined on a base price covering provision and set-up of portable studio, plus a per image charge. Other variables could include the number of backgrounds and/or images per subject, and hair and make-up artist if needed. Travel and parking expenses apply in some cases. Advance bookings, or bookings in high-demand periods, attract a 50% deposit. The assignment is invoiced on delivery of the completed images. Terms net 14 days. Can I choose which images to edit?
